Approvals & Activity

How Yuki asks before it acts, shows what it did, and lets you undo it.

An assistant that can act is only useful if you can see what it did and stop it doing more. This is how that works in Yuki.

It asks first

Before Yuki does something for you — adds a shared expense, deletes a transaction, creates an event — it shows an approval card: “Yuki wants to: …”, with what exactly will happen, and two equal buttons, Allow and Not now. The card is built from the action itself, not from what the assistant says about it, so what you allow is what runs.

The card says what happened

Once you decide, the card changes to match. A done action gets a done title — “Shared expense added”, “Transaction deleted”, “Event created” — instead of still reading like a question. Approved but still running reads “You approved: …”; the rest say Not done, Couldn’t, Expired, Undone or Already decided. Some cards also offer “Don’t ask again for this in this chat”.

Activity shows its work

Activity (a segment of Chat on your phone, and in the web sidebar) lists everything Yuki has done, by day, with a count of what’s waiting for you. Tap an entry to open the real record. Most actions can be undone for 30 days — a removed trip, charge or subscription is kept for 30 days so it can be put back. Where something genuinely can’t be undone, such as an email that has already gone, Yuki says so rather than offering an undo that does nothing.

Autopilot: how often it asks

Autopilot starts with Let Yuki act on my behalf. Off, Yuki asks before every action. On, How far a yes goes decides how often it asks again; Standing permissions lists each “don’t ask again” you gave, with Revoke.

SettingWhat it means
Ask for approvalRecommended. You approve each action as it comes up.
Auto-approve for this taskWhen you allow something, Yuki may do that same thing again in the same chat for a short while, without asking.
Some things always ask. Sending email and anything that costs money always asks — an email is shown to you first, because a sent email can’t be recalled. That can’t be switched off. Autopilot lives in Settings → Yuki on the web and Profile → Yuki on your phone; turning it off also removes every permission you gave.

Connections

Gmail, Google Calendar and your other services are listed in Settings → Connections (Connected apps in the web sidebar, Apps on Home), each marked Read or Can act. Read means read: Yuki can answer from it and can’t change anything in it. You can connect Google from the web too.
